Show a YouTube video and a gallery of thumbnails for a YouTube channel.
I had to tweek the css a bit to make it look more attractive.
My wishlist would be:
•Responsive columns for thumbnails
•I wish there was a more elegant way to display it. Maybe instead of having the large version of the video on top, having it in a lightbox and just displaying the videos in a grid?
•I wish there was a way to show a read-more button for the description if you have it reduced. Or have the full description as a tooltip maybe?
•No outline on the tumbnail.
Otherwise, it's very easy to use and add videos. It is excactly what I was looking for since I didn't want to have to enter each video url seperately and be able to show the description and title.
Nice options, great looking, simple configuration!
Thanks and congratulations!!!
This is pretty cool. It works as promised so far in 3 or 4 themes, you can adjust a few things with CSS and the only thing that would be nice to have is that the output would be responsive. That would give it 6 stars. :)
Thanks for sharing your plugin -- works perfectly on 3.5.1 and tested on a couple themes, including Catalyst.
It's easy for people like jzkits to come in here and blast away at plugin authors who dedicate their time to improving WordPress ... and maybe make a little money, too. He's Canadian -- I can tell by the way he types, and it's rare that a Canadian is so rude.
Great job, too ... somehow hardcoding wmode=opaque or wmode=transparent, so it doesn't cover up a drop-down top navigational bar, like other YouTube plugins do. Great work!
Took a little time to understand how to set all the attributes, but I love this plugin!
This plugin is solving a few challenges for me. Youtube videos show up on my Android phone. Videos that I load to Youtube automatically post to the widget. Old videos are available as thumbnails. Great solution!
Great plugin. It is just as I want for my video page.
I just love how clearly the code for this plugin is written. I think this plugin is well made for customizing and extending too. I was searching this kind of plugin for my reference in experimenting with YouTube feeds.
It's also OOP which is a plus. It uses stuff inside WordPress, thus not re-inventing the wheel. Only thing that might confuse people are some PHP shortcuts used.
Great job overall!
Pretty usefull. Nice job!
Very nice work. Thanks!
