Edit widget content using the default WordPress visual editor and media uploading functionality. Create widgets like you would create posts or pages.
I really like the plugin and it saves a lot of time. Thanks again for the support. Reply to my question was fast and very helpful!
Great plugin! The users don't need acces to the appearance menu! They van change the content of the widget at a way they are used from post and pages!
The plugin author gives a good support! This saved me a lot of time!
Adds TinyMCE styling and shortcodes just as advertised. Thank you.
Just what I was looking for! An easy way to create widget content.
It's great to provide more support for your plugin, but I don't understand why this plugin exists. It's nearly the same plugin as:
Looks like you created a plugin based on Coen's presentation during Wordcamp NL in 2012 ;)
I guess you know Coen in person? Ask him to merge with his plugin. I use "Smart WYSIWYG of content" for more than a year and never needed an update (there was no update).
3 stars for providing support
This is a very important plugin for us because it allows us to pull together all of the small pieces of copy that would otherwise go into either text widgets or widgets with tinymce into one single location where the site editors can find them and change them without getting involved with the widgets. The end result is better organization, a better work flow and the ability to secure the widget section off from anyone but the developers.
It is solidly written and not a resource hog. Well done.
The plugin works very well, making it easy for non-technical editors to update blocks of content using the traditional WYSIWYG interface.
The developer is very responsive to suggestions and provides support quickly.
I am digging the new set up however, I am stuck with the 'sharing' buttons. I don't use sharing for WYSIWYG Widgets but no matter how many times I "uncheck" the sharing option at the bottom of post, it reverts to being checked again, after I "update" the post.
Any help would be appreciated.
No more messing around with the text widget. This plugin has saved me at least 2 hours out of the last 14. Now a part of my permanent toolbox. Thanks Danny. It's easier for people to complain than give a compliment. The guy that said it duplicated every post on his site made me laugh! He must have a real mess on his hands and needs to blame somebody for it. Keep up the great work!
