Very good and useful (for me) plugin! Thanks to author!!!!
I initially liked the product, simple, works does what we need. Then I began noticing that wasn't getting the mobile version on my cell phone. It seemed to intermittently not be able to figure out what kind of browser was on the other end. Last straw is WPTouch began serving mobile format to PC browsers for no reason I can discern, just started doing it.
I want to buy it. But the plug in editor does not save my changes when I want it to. It saves it 1 out of 30 tries. I get tired. So what`s the use of buying?
I had trouble with the plugin not accepting some of the settings I chose. The footer text would not stay with the text I entered, and when I deactivated the plugin, it would not fully remove itself and my pages still show up in a mobile format. I wish I had never installed it.
Wish it let me change the background color, but otherwise does everything I want in a free app.
Wptouch is great because mobile usage increases every month. Your website needs a working mobile version or visitors will hit the back button. The plugin sends mobile searches to a bland, generic working scrollable theme.
I encountered one small issue: automatic discovery. Sometimes the plugin showed the mobile version when browsing via Google chrome desktop browser. The Pro version may fix this issue so it's something to consider.
If you want to really impress your mobile visitors, then activate a responsive theme that adjusts depending on the browser.
It automatically adjusts its form to the browser. This way, you avoid any stupid discovery errors while maintaining your website design.

I bought the Pro version at $50 and it just doesn't work with my theme. Do yourself a favour and go to DudaMobile.
not very many useful options. doesn't use your custom menus.
I can activate WP touch, it works for a second, but as soon as I reload the page, i get 404's. One time my phone did not want to load the site saying that it had too many redicts. Deactivating the plugin does not solve the problem either so I will have to find out where this plugin added some codd so I can remove it.
Oh and while I'm at it, it would be nice if on a network visitors had some possibility to switch between sites.
