Scans your WordPress system and identifies and deletes unused database tables from uninstalled plugins. This plugin also allows you to optimize DB Tab
Except that it finds WPUM tables, currently in use by the active plugin, as unused !
Mostly recommended !
Otherwise, the easiest simplest way to find unused tables.
Now, to find a plugin that identifies unused entries in active tables for deleted plugins. ( like symposium making all those entries in wp_options )
Always nice to have a little spring clean of your site (remembering to fully backup your database first, just in case!). Displayed a list of tables from old plugins. Just had to do a quick Google search first to make sure I wasn't deleting anything that was in use.
worked as described. i did not use the optimization feature, but the unused table search identified the tables i knew were unused as they related to a plugin i removed. they were deleted from the database (i checked myPHPAdmin). worked fast.
Wow, deleted about 60% of the file size of my DB with this plugin, 14MB, and it didn't break my site. Took 5 minutes. I thought for sure with all the tables it recommended be deleted that something was for sure gonna break. Nope, worked like a charm.
Fast, simple, simply works.
Just update the links to your paid plugins pages displayed at the bottom of the panel... ;)
Thanks for this.
It gets the job done, in a fashionable nice way (:
I'm currently testing some plugins and installations and needed some cleanup. This plugin did the job exactly as expected. Nice!
this plugin shrinked the database to 33% from before in an instant and without hassle. I started only the option to delete unused database entries from deleted plugins.
Nice cleanup! No problem at all!
