Upload videos to create custom video posts. With FFMPEG installed, it encodes and creates splash image.
I am developing a web based on video upload and this plugin has saved me a lot of time.
Moreover, when I had problems with the configuration I easily contacted with the author and she has been very useful.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the plugin! It's doing its job great after we setup ffmpeg properly! I use it on my personal sites and on company's site where we allow users to submit their own videos.
Addition of video js player was much appreciated!
Also, wanted to mention that it works well on a WordPress MULTISITE setup for us.
I attempted to use this plugin on a multisite installation, after reading the debugging log files, I found out that the plugin does not account whatsoever for multisite. This is very narrow-minded of the developer to not take into account.
After asking for support on the plugin, it's been 6 days now and I haven't heard a peep out of the developer.
If you're going to develop a plugin, and post it officially on the wordpress repository, at least have the decency to have timely responses that at least mention that you are looking into this, or plans for updates. etc.
I'm not going to say this plugin didn't work, because I didn't get that far. But all I wanted to do was embed a video I already have uploaded into a current post I already have published. This plugin requires you to make a new post as a custom post type "videos" and upload your video there. Not exactly what I was looking for.
Thought I would take a chance on this plugin despite the varying reviews. It took me about 5 minutes to setup and it works flawlessly on my site with 6,000+ videos. [ link redacted, please do not post links in the reviews section ]
the plugin is very helpful. We have ffmpeg installed and everything is working as expected.
What a piece of garbage.
I have gone to university for 20 years. I did exactly like he told me.
However I got some weird code when done like this
And the video did not play and I went to a dead page.
