Auto-posts a Twitter update when you update your WordPress blog or blogroll, with your chosen URL shortening service.
I have been using this plugin on multiple sites over the past couple years and it definitely delivers.
I had been searching for a plugin that would allow me to schedule tweets for a later time during the day. We normally post all our new content each morning on our site [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ] but like to then spread out those articles throughout the day to appear to our twitter followers. WP to Twitter PRO does this perfectly.
I wanted to also add that Joe is great with customer service. I needed to get a couple of questions answered and Joe responded within a few minutes to me. He explained things very clearly and we love the product and service. A++++ and we will highly recommend WP to Twitter PRO to anyone who would like to schedule their tweets.
I thought at first this was one of the many plugins around that provides you to auto publish tweets of posts you just published.
But no it provides you to custom the tweet message per post/page.
I've just started using this plugin, and quickly upgraded to the Pro version. Really like it but what strikes me most of all is the responsiveness of this developer - absolutely first class, he gets back to you really quickly. In my case it was within minutes on about three different occasions. Always very helpful in providing answers. This really gets my vote. I've bought plugins from other developers before and was dismayed by the days that would go by without a response. Joe really is a breathe of fresh air, customer service doesn't get much better than this. Keep up the good work Joe, it's very much appreciated.
Este plugin funciona a la perfección. Lo he utilizado en un sitio para publicar el título de las noticias automáticamente durante varios años y hemos ganado seguidores.
Works straight away, setup surprisingly simple even with shortener. Will recommend Pro version to clients. Thanks!
I've used two previous Twitter integrating plugins both of which have dwindled in development along the way but Wp to Twitter remains fully supported and regularly updated by its developer, who provides superb, responsive support by the way.
This plugin works nicely out of the box and has lots of nice configurable features, but if you really want to set your tweets apart then the pro version is well worth the investment. It allows you to schedule your tweets, repost your tweets up to 3 times and include your article featured images in your tweets! If that isn't unique and special then I don't know what else there is it could possibly do.
The free version is brilliant, the pro version is amazing!
Okay, look. I'm a big fan of freebies. Most of my sites run primarily on freebies, and I include a list of credits for each, to be fair, and to say thanks.
But being a cheapskate makes me all the more sensitive to the difference you can expect between a freebie and a paid plugin. I use some premium items because ultimately, it's cheaper for me. I can offer more; I can do it in less time; they break less often; and when they do, there's someone willing to help me out.
Now, WP to Twitter. The free version is like a beefed-up version of Jetpack's module, or any of another $5–$15 jobs out there. It offers way more ways to customize your tweets, including bells and whistles you may use.
I paid for the Pro version because it does something no other plugin does: re-posting to Twitter a certain number of times, at intervals, later in the day. I don't know how this isn't a market unto itself, but Joe appears to be one of two folks thinking this way, and the other one isn't worth linking to. I can schedule a post for the morning, and be assured it'll show up on Twitter up to 4 times that day, evenly spaced and each tweet slightly distinguished from the last. Super-awesome. The free version is worth paying for, and the paid version is worth paying more for.
But Joe's support is what's really spectacular.
Again, great plugin. Even better support.
