The weird thing is that they created two plugins: Acunetix WP Security, and Actunetix Secure WordPress (yes, like the "Judeans People Front" and the People's Front of Judea, from Brian's Life).
And also it not consistent: in one options page it recommends me to change 644 permissions from settings.php to a lower value, while in other page, it changes that settings to 644 to the same file. And it says that you have a lot of problems, but doesn't fix most of them automatically. So it's confusing, and complex to understand and use. Previous versions were much better :(
Seems to work just fine - never had any issues. And it's free. Thank you Acunetix!
Just what my title says. :)
Slowed my site to a crawl. Slow loading, unable to login. Removed plugin, site is working normally again.
The 4.0.1 update do not work properly for me (=appear on the dash board at all). Googling this seems to be the case for a large number of people as well, Acunetix support responds but seems to be at loss, :(
Works as expected
Plugin activated, DB queries jumped from 28 to 72! That's just crazy. It may help you protect your site but one thing is for sure, it is a resource hog.
Pas de menu, pas de réglages, pas de visibilité … pas très sécure.
D'ailleurs je voudrais comprendre comment il est arrivé dans mes plugins, puisque je n'en n'ai jamais fait la demande !
Very goog plugin for my website of Android Tablet: http://www.tabletdeandroid.com/, thanks and congratulation! ;)
Good plug-in to check all things in one place.
