Identify WordPress issues before they become a security problem by keeping an audit log of users and all of the under the hood WordPress activity.
We only have limited users and posts on our WordPress site, but we have been hacked before and this plugin makes it easy to see who has logged into the site (or attempted to), and what activity has taken place (new posts, plugins changed etc).
Each log entry shows the user id, avater, role and most importantly the IP Address, so for us this is invaluable.
On a site with larger volumes of activity you might need to limit what is shown in the log, but this is all configurable via the Settings option.
Contrary to what some other reviews have said, I haven't noticed any performance problems with PHP or SQL on this plugin. Maybe this is something that has been fixed, but in any case as regards the log taking up a lot of space in the database, you can control it's size.
I definitely feel a lot safer being able to see what activity is taking place on our site and highly recommend this plugin. Support is also first class.
Just what you need to make sure that everything is going well on your WordPress site.
Support is top notch and very helpful.
Well What can i say with this program in conjuction with wp-ban i can weed out both the spammers and the people who wish to try to hack into my admin account. Only real drawback is you need to contact them to get the list of numbers to enter into the array to delete logs if you dont delete set to a short enough time.
All in all a good plugin.
Since the problem with the overload of the DB is solved the plugin works great. Thanks for this nice peace of software!
I really love this plugin, just waiting for the export option
My hoster deactivted my account because of this plugin, it produces much too much sql load...
The service it provides is great.
But the burden to the database and how it scales with traffic is horrible.
We've now had SEVERAL websites go down because of this plugin.
It just bloats MySQL and we see 1000% CPU usage, 400% memory usage.
The plugin should be using access logs or syslog or something, not assaulting the database.
I love this plugin to monitor our staff and bad logins.
This is as great plugin for monitoring activity, changes, failed login attempts, etc. Very useful! Thanks to to the developers!
I am using this plugin on several multisite domains, like my site for translations of Excel-Functions and formulas excel-translator.de. The site has a large number of visitors and keeping track of security aspects is very important (by the way every site should look at its security nowadays).
Thanks to the dev team here and for the free plugin :-)
