Transform your mp3 audio files into a nice, small light HTML5 player
We've tried a few other audio plugins, but then someone recommended mb.miniAudioPlayer a couple months ago and it was just what we needed. Simple to use, looks great, and HTML5 based with Flash fallback. It works in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as some older browser versions like IE 8 or 9.
The plugin works automatically on MP3s inserted in a post, using some default settings that control the look and options for the player, or you can customize each player instance if needed.
Kudos to the author for a great plugin, we highly recommend it.
Thanks a lot! It works grate. Just what I needed!
I love this player, I can't change it for another one. When there's an issue, the author solve it very quickly and with efficiency. It seems that he wants to have something perfect, and it's really quite perfect !
I put 20 players on one page, and I'm impressed how it's working nicely when I start playing songs one after the other.
Thanks a lot and congratulations to the author !
Easy to install and use, most importantly I'm able to use this to deliver audio stored on my AmazonS3 account using the WP media install from URL option. Did not see that option mentioned anywhere in the notes or on the video and I almost passed over this plugin thinking it was limited to using WP media library. Very pleased to discover I can use with AWS3.
I am using a responsive theme (Genesis) and the one thing stopping me from sticking with this (and thereby donating) is it's not compatible with Android phones. Do you have plans to make it Android compatible maybe within a Paid Pro Version? I'd be happy to pay for the additional functionality and guess others would too, but it must be compatible with iOS and Android for me to use.
Was looking for an audio player that works with WP as well as being kept up to date. Well ths one has meet both areas.
Had one issue with an update and rthe author was onto it really promptly and fixed the issue without hesitation.
I love the different styling (colors) you can use so I give it a high recommendation and will donate..
Ive looked far and wide for a simple player - that works as the documentation says it will. This plugin, while still in its infancy, is the best I have found, and has the potential to be GREAT.
I have been looking for a decent audio player for some time now and I think this is it. It does everything I want it to do, except one thing: a 30-second rewind button. This feature is very useful when listening to lectures and talks.
We will financially support this (I don't like the word "donation") when we use it on our clients' websites.
I have previously removed a troublesome player and begun looking for a suitable replacement, and this little giant just blows me away! Even before downloading it, I already had a list of audio links in a Text Widget...and all I had to do to get this player working right there where I wanted it was to download and activate it. Each of my audios now has its own play/pause (slider) button, all the colors inside the widget match my theme, you can switch from one audio to another and the first will hold its place...and I suspect this little gem has yet even more to be discovered!
It doesn't work on Firefox 17.0.1
Oops, I just discovered that myself, but I bet that is easier to fix than trying to get other players working in IE8.
It doesn't work on Firefox 17.0.1 but works on Chrome. It doesn't work on android phone.
You've done some marvelous work with this plugin. It is probably the best of its type currently in the wordpress repository. I have urged my client to make a donation to your work. Thank you!
