Math Captcha is a 100% effective CAPTCHA for WordPress that integrates into login, registration, comments, Contact Form 7 and bbPress.
Using this now.
Very useful and easy to implement. Wish only style is a little better, jumping around sometimes and not in one row.
Very nice and anti spam addon
The subject actually says everything. Exactly what I was looking for.
I have tried to protect my clients (and myself) from spam using somewhere around 10-15 different methods over the past 7 years, none of them compare to what this plugin has done. I have everything setup very simple too, addition only with numbers and words. It stops ALL of the spam! Every last bit of it.
Thanks guys!! The world needed this one bad!
P.S. To those having problems... Follow the moto "KISS" I'll let you figure that one out. The more options you choose the more chances you have of something going wrong because of other plugins or themes.
I like a simple Captcha like this.
But in current Firefox, the math is wrong. If you try random numbers, it will finally accept it. But this is creating a barrier to commenting.
I brought it up in the support forum but no solution arose.
I also had a problem with it being messed up on the Comments form but managed to sort out the custom CSS for that.
The only problem is it has bad English translations like:
"Select *were* would you like to use Math Captcha"
I installed match captcha for my blog because of spam and now I can't even login because its asking for my username, password and a captcha but there is no field to fill in the captcha equation. I went to my cpanel and deleted the entire plugin but still nothing happened.
Here is the query that I'm getting:
A username and password are being requested by http://my-site-adress.com. The site says:
"wordpress attack protection CAPTCHA. Enter username: w25sou password: The result of math 15+3"
Username: Text box field
Passowrd: Text box field
Please help me out.
Good job. No need to write anything more.
