Protect email addresses and mailto links from spambots and being used for spamming. Easy to use without configuration.
i like it. thanks for providing us such a nice plugin. Can i get such plugin for magento ?
Tried a few others, but this was really easy to make it happen and protect email addresses in testimonials
Very easy, Icons better left from adress, but this only my cent
I've used a lot of email obfuscating plugins. This one is by far the best I've found. Great work!
Works with WP 3.8.1 no problems and has added features like email icons, great work!
If a human being user selects email address text and copies it into their clipboard, they are getting gibberish instead of the correct email address. (Clicking on the mailto link works fine on all the browsers I have tested with, but selecting and copying the email address doesn't work.)
It would be nice if right-click + copy URL or selecting and copying the email text would work.
I need the ability that someone can write a plain email address in the CMS and it automatically gets turned into a clickable link and this is the only one I have found where that works ... except that it's going to be darned confusing if someone copies an email address and gets gibberish.
Also, oddly, turning off the "Protect mailto links against spambots" setting, instead of just giving me the automatic conversion of plain email addresses into mailto links without the spam protection (which is what I had expected it to), simply causes every single email address on the site to be turned into "*Protected Text*".
This was the only plugin I found that gave me the flexibility I needed to display email address the way I wanted.
Damn, dude, one of the finest plugins ever. And so easy, I can even use it in my sleep. It's going on ALL our WP sites from now on.
Oh, nearly forgot, gotta love the little icon styles to go with email text links. Many thanks, Victor. :D
Simply works, I like that :-)
Had a lot of trouble tracking down an actively maintained email obfuscation plugin that did not insist on parsing all existing links, which I feel adds more overhead than is necessary. This one fits the bill and I had no issues installing it. Coding seems quite sane, and I had no problems making some slight tweaks to the styles.
