Reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail() and creates an options page to manage the settings.
This plugin allowed me to send email from a server type sftp, using CF7 to create form. Great job!
This is a good mail sending plugin but it shows SMTP password in its settings page. Other than that this is a good one.
It helped me to overcome a problem with sending email.
Needed to use this for a contact form I was using because my host locked down the generic mail() function for spam reasons, and is understandably now forcing SMTP authentication to use it.
Very simple configuration and easy to use, and works perfectly with the latest version of WordPress (3.8.1 at the time of this review).
Did everything I needed it to do, and more. I love the "send test email" feature which helps you quickly debug problems.
Doesn't seem to work. Accesses email and doesn't send..
Perfect for using smtp instead of php mail.
I have been using this plugin for years. I have tried other WP SMTP plugins, but this is the only one that is a complete drop in replacement for php mail(). Secure, reliable, perfect! Nice to see it updated. Thanks Callum!
I can use the default php instead of SMTP which is great when developing new websites!
Someone is trying to hack my google account after using this plugin.
This person was using an application such as an email client or mobile device.

Works fine from the beginning. The configuration took me only seconds. Thank you very much!
