Implementation of LESS (Leaner CSS) in order to make themes development easier.
THNX for WP-LESS - saves a lot of time
Very easy to use and setup: makes altering a theme's css a breeze. I've been using it now for a very long time and it never let mi down
I've incorporated this plugin on a few sites now, and it makes compiling bootstrap with styles for gravity forms super simple. And all I have to worry about is uploading the .less file to make any changes live on the production site.
This worked great for a while, until today when my client told me their site was, "looking strange." Nobody had made any changes to their site in weeks, but it had absolutely no CSS styling anymore and the error log was filled with errors from this plugin. Be very careful with this.
A wonderful contribution to Wprdpress. I followed instructions, read the github instructions to change my functions.php file and had a website using LESS @variables in 15 minutes. It knows to only recompile when the file is changed.
An admin interface someday would be welcome, but it works simply and it simply works.
Very usefull - i use with twitter bootstrap
Yet another useful and promising plugin from wordpress community. Many many thanks for such a useful plugin.
Was having problem with disappearing compiled stylesheets, seems that it is fixed now.
API for hooking stylesheets to themes is OK, I like it.
Learning less can be frustrating if you also have to learn compiling along the way, I like that this took care of the setup so I could focus on write LESS asap. Gets projects off the ground faster. So big thank you to the developer
It's a bit of a hassle to firgure out how to enqueue a custom style. It would be great (and, I suppose, sufficient in most situations) to make the plugin automatically enqueue the file 'style.less' from the theme's root directory.
