Manage job listings from the WordPress admin panel, and allow users to post jobs directly to your site.
Works - A have to make a few minor tweeks, but this meets my needs perfectly.
WP Job Manager does exactly what I needed, but where I'm really impressed is how well it's templated so that you can very easily customise it via your theme.
Mike's documentation is great - even though I'm not an experienced coder I've managed to add new fields, change which fields are displayed to users, and adjust the layout with no problems at all.
Brilliant stuff. Thank you.
Simply do the task.
Everything works perfectly. Intuitive and simple, but with quite a bit of customization, never a problem. I used with Jobify theme and the result is great.
Thanks a lot Mike!
I'm running wp 3.6.1 . I have installed this plugin . All working except one thing below :
Job listings only visible when someone logged in . So visitor will get below messages :
No more jobs found matching your selection.
Is this working on 3.6 ?
I am currently using Job Manager and the purchased Add-On Resume Manager plugins on my site. The plugins are fantastic and easy to configure.
Mike Jolley has VERY QUICKLY and VERY EFFECTIVELY answered any questions I might have! Best support I have ever received from a WordPress plugin.
When I contacted him with a question, I received a reply email within MINUTES! When the add on didn't include a feature I was asking about, he recommended an additional plugin to get the job done! Now that's what I call support!
I have been going through the dictionary of plugins available the last four months as I made this transition from ASP.NET to WordPress for my ecommerce sites. When you are new you don't know your favorites yet so I have been through the mill. I bore you with that bit because I have never had a plugin give me such useability with such ease.
WP-Job-Manger-Resumes is my favorite so far; so easy to roll out and powerful. Mike, you da man.
If you are a newbie then make sure you configure visibility with Capability vs. Role.
Happy resume posting!
First of all, Mike Jolley is very helpful. He is a lead developer at WooThemes so he clearly knows what he is doing.
If you are familiar with Woo products at all, then you'll have no problem working with this plugin as its interface is very much the same as WooCommerce.
Even if you're not familiar with Woo products, you'll find this plugin easy to use. The information in the GitHub are great, and Mike is great and answering any other questions.
WP Job Manager managed to create in a few months what the guys from JobRoller did in a few years.
Mike Jolley (ex-developer behind JobRoller, current WooCommerce mastermind) has created an excellent, lightweight and modular WordPress Job Board plugin that I'm happy developing 3rd party plugins for.
It's impressive array of aftermarket / 3rd party plugin is already a testament to it's versatility, and fits the freemium model like a glove.
I'm excited to see where this is going!
