Does what I want it to do
By , for WP 3.9.1

I wanted to show the latest x commits from a specific repo and this plugin does that exactly.

Few suggestions though: it's difficult to style the output without any classes. The output now is:

<li class="github-commit"><a href="link-to-commit">commit-title</a> by <a href="link-to-profile-of-committer">name-of-committer</a> on date @ time</li>

Could be improved by adding some spans with classes around the texts.

Also I can add a shortcode to the title of all my other widgets, but this widget does not seem to respect that function.

Works for me and is just what I wanted.

Very simple yet it suits my every need.

Wouldn't mind if you could add a little box around the commit so it would be a bit more obvious.

Well done, keep up the good work!
