A document management and version control plugin that allows teams of any size to collaboratively edit files and manage their workflow.
The plugin sounds fantastic... BUT - it doesn't seem to work, and there is no sign of anyone on the support forums.
The plugin unfortunately seems to have died for the moment for lack of attention.
Me gusta que aprovecha al máximo las funcionalidades que vienen por defecto en WordPress, y con el plugin simplemente añade o mejora allí donde WordPress no llega.
Para usuario básico no lo recomiendo, pero para medio / avanzado es ideal.
Elegant, efficient, and functional. Very strong plugin. I needed it for one specific purpose (protecting uploaded files) and it works great for that. It does a lot more, though, and does it well. Terrific extras in the Code Cookbook, too https://github.com/benbalter/WP-Document-Revisions-Code-Cookbook
This plugin does exactly what it needs to do in a simple and intuitive way.
Fantastic concept and generally a very good implementation ...except for one thing: it crashes when you try to restore any document revisions. If that gets fixed then this is a 5* plugin!
UPDATE: This issue has been fixed in the latest update, thanks guys!
Really superb plugin! Very clear interfacea and workflow (exactly the same workflow as using WordPress to create posts). Covers everything you could need from simple downloads to a full blown document intranet solution for companies or websites which need to create, review, revise and publish files of ANY format.
Thank you for this. I can see this being my first choice plugin for downloads and dealing with documents.
Expect a donation from me in the near future! Thanks again
Thank you for this plugin.
Haven't given it a try yet but sure will as this is the type of plugin I was looking for! And from the youtube video alone I can see that this is a quality plugin made for many types of people.
Installed 1.3.5 on WP 3.5.1 with Members 0.2.2, both on new and existing sites; with the documents stored within the uploads folder and outside the web server accessible folders. I'm mainly using basic functionality: upload documents as private, select which roles can access them, and link to them from posts via the download links (i.e. Latest Version of the Document: Download). This is the only workable solution I've found for hosting documents that should be accessible to subscribers but not public.
