WordPress Social Login allow your visitors to comment and login with social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and more.
This plugin is the best social login plugin for me.. :)
Best social login plug!
I have been trawling through apps to do exactly what this does, some use third party sites, some are expensive, and some don't work. I only wish I had found this plugin sooner. I knew how to set up all the API's because of mucking with previous apps and the thing that struck me the most is the Simplicity of setup in comparison to others and also how it is implemented. Did I meantion an unbeatable price. The author of this app has made me a very happy fella.
All the other plugins rely on external sources and mostly require some kind of membership.
Due to the complexity of the process you can have a hard time customizing it but when you think of the hard time the developer(s) went through developing it, cant complain.
I hope this plugin gets continued with future wp / social network updates. Keep up the good work!
i installed the plugin and at first i was really eager to make it working. but there was trouble and the attitude of the developer who basically does not provide support, lead to make me change the plugin.
This plugin is really helpful.
Very good tool, nice work.
Other tools need to give away your data and the data of your members to a third party server. With this tool, we have full control. This is the very best solution.
Perhaps there is a way, to run it on a multisite with one setup for all sites? Please continue developing this tool.
BTW: the url to the LIVE networks must be: https://account.live.com/developers/applications
When WSL works, it works like a dream. However, there are so many ways to break it unless you are running a pretty much bare wordpress site you'll have issues at some point.
It would be one thing if the Dev was responsive, or if the user base had enough PHP devs to help but support seems lacking. I understand that this is a free plugin and it's really just a hobby for the Dev. Still, if you develop something like this and put it out there I think you have a responsibility to support it.
If you rate something based on what it says it does, this plugin does 100 percent and deserves five stars. When you compare this open source app to the paid ones, then it deserves more than five because you get almost as many features with absolutely no limitations on number of users or access to the data that it can provide. Minor flaw: no WordPress.com log in.
This took way to long to get to work and after all that work it didn't work for me when I tested it. It's not the hassle and there are other faster and better plug ins that do the same that you don't have to sign up to a site to install and use.
