Map any blog/site on a WordPressMU or WordPress 3.X network to an external domain.
As usual, I followed half the steps, guessed the rest and got it running first crack!
Follow the directions and you can't go wrong. I had to create a network for a customer with an year old WP install who now has several businesses. If you should happen to run into problems double check your entries and if needed search the support forums here on WordPress.org. Chances are your issue has already been addressed for someone else. Thanks to the dev team for a super plugin!
I thought it would be difficult. All I had to do was follow the instructions under "Installation". It took approximately 5 minutes. Thanks for a great plugin!
thanks a lot!
Works perfectly with my multisite install. Not for noobs...
I've been using this plugin for a few years now. Works perfectly.
Thanks for creating it!
No review... try it
As this uses 301 redirects or something similar, when your website fails and the mapped domain just links to your main domain, this is stored within the browser used by visitors to the site.
If you fix/restart your WordPress install and the domain mapping should kick in again, the browser still holds the erroneous 301 link to your main domain, braking the mapping.
This one is a must have for every one using WordPress Multisite!
We found the solution worked great and have details on http://www.3deers.com/blog/wordpress-network-solution/.
