WordPress HTTPS is intended to be an all-in-one solution to using SSL on WordPress sites.
Left the site with a bunch of problems after it did not uninstall correctly.
Great solution for woocommerce users.I use it in pamela.co.il site without any problems!
I use this plugin to enable SSL for the admin interface on my WordPress site. It works quite well for that purpose. Well done!
The only improvement I would propose is setting the login cookies as "secure" cookies, where they'll only be sent over a secure connection.
SSL is a great way to protect your login. SSL certs are now cheap enough that every site should have one (to protect the admin side at the very least). This plugin in makes it an easy task. Works great.
Plugin works great with Striking theme and Woocommerce plugin.
after installing it ONLY forwarded my wp admin panel and then froze me out of it.
Thank you - this resolved my SSL error quickly and easily.
I love this plugin, works great! I do have a feature request...
Here is my wordpress multi-user configuration:
primairydomain.com - has SSL
secondary.primairydomain.com - does NOT have SSL
Here is what I would like to do:
I would like to be able to create secure pages for secondary.primairydomain.com for any form submissions to be completed on primairydomain.com
http://secondary.primairydomain.com/contact/ would redirect to:
Allowing a secure connection but keeping the same THEME files and page content from secondary.primairydomain.com/
Any thoughts on this? would you like to collaborate on a new plugin maybe if there is not one out there that can do this?
I'm using this plugin for my very first wordpress site. Now It works very well but, on internet I am willing to pay for things that work, and I'm always very concerned about free stuff regarding future updates, and support.
Of course, the developer is free to do what he wants but, the method of donations does not convince me. 188,270 downloaded this plugin and in my opinion is time to pay for something that works
If you can pay for example 30€ per year for my professional antivirus, why you shouldn't pay for a plugin that save your time and does the job.
Maybe, is better to know the amount you need to keep this plugin alive.
Thanks you anyway.
More and more I see developers of plugins and themes ignoring the forums of their products and then they don't support their product because no one makes contributions, duh. Or it's always the other guys fault. It's pretty obvious to most anyone why contributions fail. As stated this plugin does not work with some themes and will break their plugins. They do not respond to forum requests. So the old business model is still the only one that really works. Pay for service which is fine with me it's just too bad this young generation hides behind this open software model that does not provide reliable working software at all. Of course there are always exceptions but not here. This is why Microsoft, Oracle and all others will always kick the arse of the Open Software model. I'm afraid the emperor has no clothes.
