Wordfence Security is a free enterprise class security and performance plugin that makes your site up to 50 times faster and more secure.
it has blocked so many hackers who tried to login to my site. it also sends email about security issues related to my site
Wow, just installed this plugin a couple of weeks ago on a completely un-used WordPress site. Since then, it has caught so many issues. Including 2 recent hack-attacks where someone was constantly hammering it login attempts, and it automatically banned their IP from accessing login page or password reminder page, and sent me warning emails about it.
Just goes to show that even your most under-used WordPress sites are being hammered all the time. So install this on every one of your WordPress sites. And for your main sites, get the pro version.
i have feeling this plugin is gonna work and supercool
gives me peaceful nights sleep. well done!
Great, a lot for free... Much appreciated...
Well made plugin everyone should definitely use on their wordpress sites.
Really good security features will keep bad dudes from accessing your website and create serious havoc and we don't want that now do we ?
Sleep well at night this plugin offers awesome options and settings to configure your security needs. I had a look and was amazed with the nice features, even the smallest stuff was thought about and added by the developer.
I love you and am happy user ~ 5 Stars :))
this plugin is very useful, it will block any public IP address that tries to spam or flood on wordpress site. it limit the number of login attempts and monitor all live traffic on website.
great program, thanks!
An excellent plugin. Also the developers of the plugin issue useful newsletters from time to time regarding security issues.
I absolutely love this plugin and have now installed it on all my WordPress sites. It scans them regularly and helps me keep my sites updated and avoid security issues. It tells me when people have been blocked for repeated failed attempts to log in to the admin panel, and there used to be many! I have manually blocked several of them, and those attacks are now almost non-existent. Mark Maunder's occasional emails about global WordPress attacks and discovered vulnerabilities are also very informative. I won't go without Wordfence :-)
