WooSidebars adds functionality to display different widgets in a sidebar, according to a context (for example, a specific page or a category).
After creating a couple of unique sidebars for specific pages and getting all excited, the "unique" sidebars showed up on every page on my site except the "home" page, obviously not what I wanted.
I set it up for only select category codes, but on every single post on every single category there is a check mark for the unique sidebar, which I cannot remove.
Disappointing and zero support.
the plugin does not save the values. I had to go down to version 1.2.0
This plugin looks very promising, but it would not save the pages that I wanted to override with my replacement sidebar. I would select the WooCommerce pages, but when I clicked save, my selections would not be remembered.
