Show or hide widgets on specific posts, pages or sections of your site.
Using this plugin used to be great, but we can no longer reliably show or hide widgets on single URLs or even on wildcards.
It seems to work pretty well with the standard checkboxes, byt when you try to define URLs is doesn't always work, so on a few servers we've given up.
At the moment i'm messing with it somewhere that I noticed it had stopped working - Not sure why, and the forums filled with users about trying this or that at different servers, and other's who have hasd it stop working.
That that may be "fine" for some people, but it does kill my ability to give 5 star rating for this plugin.
The best thing I can say about it now (and we've used it at over 20 sites) is that "if you futz with it long enough you can usually get it working."
Developers and site owners need a plugin to consistently and reliably have showing and hide any widget they wish, and unfortunately, this plugin has lost it's way.
WordPress 3.5.1 and Widget Context 0.7.1 work well together. 0.7.1 is still downloadable if you search, and is more reliable than 0.8.1.
