Easy Web Performance Optimization (WPO) using caching: browser, page, object, database, minify and content delivery network support.
Well this is the second time I've tried W3 Total Cache and I'm now reminded why I dumped it in the first place.
I'm sure this plugin works fine for many people but for me it causes many problems, conflicts and slows down my site (even in the admin panel). By far the most problematic WP plugin I have ever used. Again, this plugin must work great in many situations but for me it has only been a complete train wreck. Currently running WP 3.8.1, Atahualpa 3.7.12 and several other plugins. Sorry to complain, but I've never had issues like this with any other WP plugins. :(
Nothing really to say. It is just amazing and very satisfying. Has integration nearly to any top platform around. I did some test with google tools and the times were impressive. Optimization and performace done right. A must have in the belt of every WordPress Developer.
It cost me alot of hours on my one domain, so now im trying like an idiot to recover my website.
I cant even uninstall the plugin, i tried manually and i ruined everything, now trying to recover, thanks alot.
Work great when configured properly. Possibly a better explanation of what each item and setting does, compatibility with common server setups, etc.
It's a powerful plugin. I don't use a CDN just basic page caching and minify (disk enhanced) and disk settings and my site now loads in less than 1 second. Seriously. Test it http://REsolvedLLC.com
As above, its a mighty powerful plugin, but the Empty hostname error is still to be resolved :(
This plugin didn't work with my theme, Alien WP's Origin. Installing it disabled the menu on the mobile version of my site and I was unable to resolve this so had to uninstall W3 Total Cache.
Superb Cashing Plug-in Ever.. Must Use
I've been using W3 Total Cache for months (years really) on all types of websites. It has usually done the job extremely well.
Unfortunately, there is a problem between version 0.9.3 and wordpress 3.8.1. The plug-in conflicts with WordPress and the result is 500 errors coming up every few minutes (or seconds). This conflict isn't a problem on websites with small traffic as it doesn't seem that things build up enough to cause the disruption but it causes hell on large traffic websites (the ones it's use is crucial).
According to my observations on 20 or so websites using the plugin, there seems to be a strong correlation between the traffic and the rhythm the errors occur. I didn't see any error on websites with up to 150 visitors per day.
So if your overall daily traffic is average & under 100 visitors, you're probably safe using this plug-in before an update fixing the problem is launched. If your website is popular, stay free from W3 Total Cache for the moment.
Do not install at this point. It's not working very well with WP 3.8.1.
Don't install it to "try it out", you will get seriuos issues with speed testing sites even after you discover that it sucks at this stage and uninstalling it.
