Easy Web Performance Optimization (WPO) using caching: browser, page, object, database, minify and content delivery network support.
It does almost everything imaginable to increase loading speed, but it requires some attention in the administration.
If the plugin thinks that a cache flush is required, why does it not do it automatically?
Other than that, it's an excellent plugin.
Plugin de cache très complet au regard de ses nombreuses options.
Does the job so i don't have to - what could be better than that:)
Flawless for the most part but not as clear as I would like for novice users
W3 Total Cache would definitely be one of my "desert island" plugins. Works nearly flawlessly.
The only shortcoming -- and the only reason for the lack of the fifth star -- is the lack of adequate configuration documentation. I self-host on OS X and I don't see any performance difference between setting the various caches to use 7200RPM hard drives, 5400RPM hard drives, APC, or memcached. That just doesn't make any sense at all.
At any rate, according to GTmetrix, it drops my average page load time from 3.88 seconds to 1.94 seconds.
I guess I'll break down and buy one of the premium services for configuration and/or support. That's probably the idea.
UX can be simplified a bit - but it has everything I need.
I optimized my wordpress site's performance using the W3 Total Cache, I recomended
this is not your usual plugin - it has a lot of settings and a bit of a learning curve. take time to follow instructions and read faqs. get it working with basic install before utilizing more advanced functionality.
4 stars because it covers all options that can be for optimizing performance.
It would benefit 5 stars if it would provide notices on some JS libraries that break on certain minify settings. Docs are available in PageSpeed and other sources about this.
