The 5.0 update is completely awesome. Easy to setup and manage. Plus I get my favorite slide effect. Thanks for this hard work.

This stopped working for me. Followed all the suggestions listed on their forums and it still doesn't work. No support being given for several weeks. Can't wait that long when I need to get a site up and running.

Compared to other sliders it is not so user friendly,

by default image source is CUSTOM so if you set featured images on 3 posts and tell it to fetch from a specific category, slider will still show the default custom images. You have to find this out and change it to reflex.
Image resize was not good at all when i added photos with larger than default dimensions.
Crashed when i told it to "Display post excerpt?". It did not show any image at all
Loading time for 1st image when post or page loads seems to be a little slow compared to other similar slider plugins

Although it is very detailed in customization (something that i like), these behaviors turned me away.

1. i wasn't not able to set anything in "vSlider5 settings" inside a WP 3.5.1 Multisite with userrole admin ... since ... yes, since [U]i created a new user with lower privileges[/U] and, couldn't believe: finlly only this works!!! how stupid is that?! ;-)
but after this only one little success and finally hours of trying to get this running anyhow i leave! neither the version 5 nore the v 4.. will work as its promised -
such a waste of time!

I can't get on the forum to ask for help. I am not savvy enough to know where to install the shortcode... I have it all set up, but there seems to be no support for us newbies.. I have spent 8 hours today working on this and still no go... can someone tell me where to install shortcode to make this work? thanks... I am sure it is a good plugin..

For me was very hard to configure this plugin (i am not new at all in wp): the images just don't want to appear (there are no error messages, just the blank page or nothing), the settings have just disappeared a few times, had to enter them again and again. Adding pictures is not user friendly at all.

It's working great with my theme.

Hello! congratulations for your work!! your plugin seems to be really great, But on my site doesn't work at all. I've followed step by step your tutorials and in the end i can see just " {;} " instead of your slider. Can you help me and tell me why!? thank you for the support!!

So many options, took so long just to add 3 images. Then when I did, all the support material reads "Coming Soon"
