Self-hosted responsive HTML5 video for WordPress, built on the widely used Video.js HTML5 video player. Embed video in your post or page using HTML5.
Very nice video player but was wondering if der was anyway to add embeed button and share videos on social media
I tested Mediaelement.js, Sublime and many others but it is the best among them all.
This works responsively everywhere I can test:
MacBook Pro: Mac OS X 10.6.8 Safari, Firefox, Chrome
iPad Air: iOS 7.0.4 Safari, Chrome
HTC One: Android 4.3 stock browser, Firefox, Chrome
All browsers are the latest available version for each platform.
This one works perfectly after I tried several player plugins. Simple to use, yet has almost all the options I need. Can I add a title to a video?
I already used videojs in my previous html5 webapp created with jQmobile and it worked very fine. This morning, I was searching for a simple but powerful video plugin to install in my WP multilingual testsite and I tested a few before coming across this version of videojs for WP.
I used in my testsite and it worked immediately, just a few clicks and I could use video I had in my previous website without having to upload it again. I have to make some more tests with caption in different languages but I'm sure with the right settings they will work too.
Thank you for the great work!!!
do i need to say more , simply awesome
I have just tried this plugin (after trying many others, and not being that impressed with them). So far, it is neat, simple and nice.
It looks promising but I'm missing an end to end example that shows the use cases. The video on the website ran but I could only hear the sound (using chrome). Can someone help out?
Have a look at this DIY plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/videostir-spokesperson/ where you can easily embed your video (not yet HTML5 based).
It's based on http://videostir.com technology.
I'd like to request that this plugin can use FFMPEG or some other script, to allow admin to upload 1 file and then auto-encode in to selected formats for multi-compatibility.
Would make things crazy smoother.
I don't use zen-coder anymore, but intagration with zencoder I believe would be a big plus.
Thanks for everything either way, great plugin
