It's a great plugin I would just ask for it to be a bit more customizable. I needed to style the Custom Headline as well...

I checked out this plugin. Its very simple and easy to use. But one BIG flaw. If you use something like Theme My Login where you dont use the normal wp-admin. You can lock yourself out and only way back in is to use MySQL to disable maintenance mode.
