The perfect all-in-one responsive slider solution for WordPress.
It is a very flexible slider and their support is fantastic. With layers you can control your slider easily. Since it is not just a basic slider, there is a slight learning curve but that's ok.
Their support team was pretty fast about replying the questions.
I gave them 4 stars, because of the limits of the free version is pretty annoying especially if you want to embed videos or custom html into your sliders but the free version is good enough for taking care of simple stuff.
Easily the best slider plugin I've found, including those sometimes included with commercial themes. The options you have for combining text with images, and animating them is impressive.
On the downside, the documentation needs some work at times. For example, the docs tell you "If you click on the export button, then the import button will show up, and you can import it with this button." Well, that's certainly descriptive (trust me - in context, it doesn't tell you what you're supposed to do at all). More examples of HOW something is used would be more helpful.
The font assignment settings are the weak point. Prepare to spend some time flailing around and wondering why you've input your values, yet the fonts aren't appearing in your slides.
Overall, it's a *very* good plugin, and worth the money. But again, it's not a plug-and-play slider - prepare to READ the documentation, and put some time aside to LEARN how it works. This is not a plugin you want to install on an live site with 15 mins before deadline.
Well, I've been looking for a slider plugin for weeks.
Among all those available I've chosen 7 for a more detailed look.
Samrt Slider 2 beats them all by its high customization abilities and the powerful features.
Support was very good during tests, immediate response withing less than an hour and detailed feedback with explanations.
Only the responsive design needs a bit of additional work as it's not optimal yet in combination with all their features, e.g. widgets.
But the "basic" types are almost perfect as far as I have tested.
Due to customization features drawback of responsive design could be overcome by custom css code. If you're a developper and need the full power of Smart Slider 2 this should be no problem. I'm sure their perfect support will help you with this.
