the plugin is great. i even got support on a problem that turned out to be with my own machine and not the plugin's! it is one of the very few free plugins that support multiple image galleries. one feature that i missed was resizing according to height of the image and not only width, but overall it is a very good package, highly recommended!

I have used this on a few sites and have been very pleased with the way the plugin works.
I was a little concerned when I was working off a temporary site and my images and thumbnails would not appear and found out it was a conflict with the URL.
The support team responded right away and gave me a solution that worked great.

I recommend this slideshow plugin.

Sorry, all these paths are hard coded. After editing many files still could not get it to work.
Use only in plain vanilla installs.

On the plus side I like the way the admin can precisely limit who has access to the various parts of the plugin.

But there are so many negatives:

- Slideshows aren't individually stylable. There's only one size setting you use to specify all your galleries.
- Doesn't allow bulk upload of photos.
- Photos aren't added to the media library and so don't benefit from great editing functionality.
- For some reason, it cuts off large portions of big photos whether or not I set the Resize Images option.
- Slideshow elements don't line up well with each other. Perhaps this is related to use of *{box-sizing:border-box;} that so many web authors use on their sites.

Easy to use and setup. Nice interface and simple.

but be carefull,it will conflict with nivo slider for wordpress plugin.

I have tried this slider but it doesn't suite my needs due to it's lack of certain customizations and little things like the thumbnails not working.

I have tried this slide on two different sites both with no other plugins activated that could cause conflicts and on both the thumbnail images do not show up. Also, if set to a white background there is no way to alter the background of the thumbnail navigation arrows. If the background is white the background of the nav should be white as well, at least in my opinion.

It would be nice if there was a resize option for images as well on upload so that they fit proportionally into the set width/height of the gallery.

As a developer I would also like to have easy access to the CSS to modify layout options.

No full image preview , bo bulk image uploads

The Gallery is Good, but some websites in some web hostings will face problem such as the images don't show up. The solution is simple.
I see the permission for folder wp-content/uploads is 755. Actually it should be enough. But in the reality, it doesn’t work.
So I change the permission of the folder to 775.
I go to Slideshow>Manage Slides
I edit the Slides so the image reapper and save it.
And the plugin is working as good as it should be!
