HTML sitemap to display content as a single linked list of posts and pages, or as groups sorted by taxonomy (via a drop-down box).
Thanks - wanted a site map for users to understand the page structure. Now they can see the layout.
Easy to install and configure.
Works perfect right out of the box. Bam! It's done.
Easy to implement woth a shortcode. Different sort orders and ID exclusion option. Great, thank you.
All websites should have an HTML sitemap page. We have been using 'Simple Sitemaps' now for at least 6 months, and it has worked great! Content of our site is very well organized and straight-forward for site visitors. We appreciate the author's hard work and plan to continue using. Thanks!!
A year ago I had rated this as a 4, but now it's definitely a 5! The author took my feature suggestions into consideration and coded them into the plugin, making it super easy to use without any need for plugin customizing anymore. I use this plugin on all of my sites, and I'm a very happy user. :) Thank you!
This plugin was a snap to use. I like the fact that it enables different sort orders. If it weren't advertised as Simple, I would ask for a few options, like the option to display Posts or Pages or both, and the option to disable the public-side sort drop-down. But they're not critical.
What kept it from getting 5 stars is the CSS that sets the font size of the list items to 15px and the line height to 1.6em. These values should not be set by the plugin; they should default to the site's list styles. Having the classes in the HTML so that someone can style them differently from other lists is sufficient.
Note Feb 22: See my comment. I updated the rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.
No hassles installing and generatinga site map.
