This plugin lets provides a simple way to set an automatically scaled full screen background image.
Works really well. Just be sure you click the "File URL" and "Insert Into Post" buttons on the Image Edit screen (which you will see automatically after selecting an image/file to upload). Otherwise, the image won't appear ... because you didn't insert it.
I have also used the pro version - to add images to interior pages and by category/tag, etc - and was pretty happy with it.
The plugin is simple and works.
Do you know how to have the background-image only on a home static page? That is, I don't want any background-img in the pages themselves, only on the opening page of the website. Perhaps in the CSS itself? Thank you.
Instead, if you happen to know about a plugin that would do this it would be great also.
Great plugin btw.
I downloaded the new plug in but it doesn't fill the screen. Please help
I've used this with a few child themes of Twenty Twelve and Twenty Eleven, and it works great.
Same comment as Quanah. Installed it on http://bijouxdefamille.fr/
Seems to works perfectly. does the job without any need to play with code.
Thanks Pippin, I'm also using another of your plugin (Easy Digital Downloads) on that site, work great !
