Not what it says it does

I downloaded this one thinking it was the exact fit for my issues of SO many spam registrations, BUT it didn't stop anything. The very next day I had even more spam registrations. I think this thing does not stop the spam registrations like it says it does.

Inundated with Spam

In the last two weeks my site has been overwhelmed with shopping site spam using this plugin. It simply doesn't work anymore for me. I've deactivated it and installed another plugin.
