I run a couple contributor-based websites. Some of the contributors put silly/unprofessional or too personal usernames, which popped up in the URL of their posts. This plugin helped me fix this to make them more professional. Thank you!

changing author URL

I'm not a developer, and I found this plugin extremely useful - I go just go to the edit user page and change the base name for that author. WordPress adds the username as the author name by default which is a security risk.
