The plugin makes it easy to exclude the pages of your choice from search results.

If you're installing this plugin for your site, note that the Exclude from Search Results checkbox may not appear in the upper-right corner of the edit page screen. Mine appeared on the very bottom.

There's also a cool feature not shown in the plugins screen shots. Go to Settings > Search Exclude from your admin panel to view all excluded page. The plugin let's you quickly unhide pages from search results using this screen.

This plugin does exactly what it says it does which happened to be exactly what I needed.

The plugin adds a checkbox that gives you the possibility to hide any page or post from the search results. You might want to use it if you have a static front page that keeps coming up in the search results.
