Increases WordPress' default search functionality in three easy steps.
Thanks!
The highlighting option highlights words/phrases that are located throughout the entire site.. For example, if you search for "about" the navigation menu with "about" in it gets highlighted. Major problem...
What's worse is if you have something in the sidebar with the word "about" it will attempt to highlight that as well which is completely nonsensical for a user when searching. It then breaks the code by inserting html that alters the sidebar and you end up seeing the code as if it is copy.
this plugin looks promising, very useful plugin.
Works well for me. Using it on several intalls without a problem.
I'm building a site that has a whole mass of custom post types, custom fields, etc. I realised my search wasn't taking the custom fields into account, a minute's research told me about Search Everything, and a minute later my issue was fixed. This is why I love WordPress and it's awesome plugin developers.
No for me - doesn't serach pages
doesn't search pages which is the only reason i wanted to use it. test search works fine but not on actual page no matter which boxes you tick. worse yet the makers aren't responding to support requests in the forums.

All I need is a way to make custom fields searchable. Install this plugin and voila, custom fields are searched. This isn't the best option for HUGE sites, since MySQL search is slow with postmeta. But this plugin is exactly as advertised. Good job!
