Embed user reviews and Google Rich Snippet ratings anywhere on your site.
As far as the user experience and resulting schema markup this is spot on.
* spam prevention without manual moderation
* ability to define settings that shows form and snippet on pages in category(ies) <X>.
installing this now I have to go through hundreds of content pages to add them manually.
Considering a hack to just append it to content automatically.
Would be great to have a star rating rather than just an average number.
This is a great plugin, probably the best review plugin for wordpress, it has a lot of potential and many cool features could be added, some examples:
Would be cool to post a review with your facebook/twitter credentials...
Just because no one likes to write Name,Email, plus when they make a review it is also shared with their contacts.
Also the stars from any review won't show up in Chrome, only on IE and Firefox.
I really like this plugin, it has everything I need. But what I hate in it is its design: I would be very happy if you would add some basic settings to change the appearance of the form.
And I almost forgot: it would be better to add _e and __ functions for translation ;)
This plugin can do the job for you. Some features are still required. But at the moment, you can use it for showing reviews on your site, without any problem.
anything about hreview box is good - keep up the good work!
Today I'm comparing "Customer Reviews" and "Rich Reviews." I like everything about "Customer Reviews" except that it doesn't display average reviews on another webpage. "Rich Reviews" has this feature (called "snippets"). On the other hand, "Rich Reviews" lacks the date that the review was written. It also displays the review in a narrow column, which might be OK for a couple sentences but my customers sometimes write several pages.
I think this has a lot of powerful uses and tremendous potential for a solid benefit to your site.
I'd like to add a small request. I think it would be nice to be able to short-code a single, specific review into a post or page. Something like [RICH_REVIEWS_SHOW id="294"] where ID is the ID of the review itself.
Sometimes we want to highlight a specific review based on it's relevance to a post or page we are creating...
Anyway - loving this plugin, with or without my desired feature.
Untill the 2013-2-10 version this plugin is a shame.
The form looks very uggly in several themes, it takes at least two weeks to get an answer from the developper and, worst, any effect in Google after more than 3 weeks of using.
Don't waste your time with this plugin!
I tried many other rating plugin before and this one is the best and simplest. Cant wait for the next version, can I expect it soon?. It would be great to add a ''top rated'' page and a ''latest reviews''.
Thank you so much, you made my life easier.
