This plugin resizes uploaded images to within a given maximum width and height after uploading, discarding the original uploaded file in the process.
I installed it for one of my subdomains, to prevent unnecessarily large photos from being uploaded to the server. Turns out large file uploads were causing errors on the other domains. Activated this plugin on those domains too and problem fixed!
Does what it's suppose to do and then some. Thanks a million!
Extremely useful plugin!
I would love it if I could somehow turn off the functionality for some images I upload as there is no way to escape this plugin on the whole site and upload image of another site apart from disabling this temporarily and then enabling it, this could be tricky if you have multiple authors posting at the same time. I do not mind paying if this was included as a paid feature.
What a great plugin!
This plugin works wonders for our administrators. Our non-administrators (Editors / Authors) are unable to upload images at all due to an error in the plugin that only occurs for non-admins.

Very usefull plugin to save webspace.
And thanks to the update to 1.4.2
Va a volverse uno de mis "básicos" en las instalaciones de wordpress.
Aligerar el servidor y las webs sin tener q dar la paliza a los autores ni explicaciones de porqué esto y lo otro...
fantastic plugin, solved the big issue of noobs uploading gigantic images to the site!
Makes you workflow increase as the image does not get upload full size.
I've been searching for a plugin like this for a while now and this one is just simple and working the way you think it would. All uploaded images will get resized to a max width. I use the plugin formidable pro and it works perfect with that!
I hope this one doesn't dies!
