Stopped Attacks dead...
By , for WP 3.8.1

Installed the plugin, and the login attacks I was seeing disappeared.

Great plugin - should be something like this in core WordPress.

Thanks!

Great! Does what it says on the tin

I have been searching for ways to change my login URL and this plugin is by far the easiest!
After hundreds of "too many failed login attempts" emails in the past week, I'm hoping that this will stop the barrage.
I'm using it together with other login security plugins (Stealth Login, Limit Login Attempts) as well as a login logo plugin, no compatibility issues so far!

Nice useful plugin
By , for WP 3.8.1

I love this plugin, simple but useful.

But after the log-in i get a black page, and not the previous page or any page.

And I have another trouble with the forum plugin (Mingle Forum) i use, who need to be update to find the correct user login page. There is a parameters to be compatible with default WP and you renaming ? to put as $login_url into the login form ?

Thanks,
mike

just what i needed!
By ,

lately my log files have been filling up with hits to wp-login.php -- i have seen thousands of hits yesterday morning! and excessive calls to wp-login.php creates many php-cgi threads in my virtualmin environment that overwhelms my server over time.

i suspect i am getting hit hard by other infected sites.

i wish i had seen this plug-in back when it was first written, it would have saved me a lot of grief.
