Works perfectly and especially great for woocommerce
By , for WP 3.9

I'm using woocommerce for an e-commerce site, and even though customers won't see much if they get to the dashboard, it's still not something I want them to see. So luckily I found this plugin, and although it may not have tons of options, it has all the options I needed. It works perfectly and it's easy to set up!

works great but you do need to understand roles
By , for WP 3.8.1

Simple and effective...though you do need to understand what roles folks have if you want to deny anyone other than an admin...I used edit posts as I wanted to keep only subscribers out.

Excellent Plugin

This is a god-send. With the plethora of people out there doing alterations to function.php documents etc., and a load of other unnecessary steps to jack up your site, here is a simple yet most effective solution to a very sought after issue. Thanks for a solid solution :)

Good plugin thanks!

Well-thought out, unlike a lot of code snippets floating around. Handles AJAX issues, for instance.
Bonus points for posting on Github (I forked for a multisite setup).

Does what it says

This plugin is just what I was looking for - the ability to STOP my users from accessing wp-admin unless it's me or the other admins of my site.

The ability to redirect users was also a requirement that has been fulfilled nicely.

What would make this even greater is if it could work with the "members" plugin where you can create your own roles and have those roles plugged in here as well.

Only works on FQDNs

elseif ( ! preg_match( '|^\S+://\S+\.\S+.+$|', $options['redirect_url'] ) )

That is far from sufficient as a URL regex. Consider, for example, the URL http://localhost/~squelch which is perfectly valid. As a developer I need to test things before they go live.

It's a shame as this looks like it could be a good solution. If/when this gets fixed I'll be more than happy to revise my rating.
