Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections and keep track of 404 errors without requiring knowledge of Apache .htaccess files.
Nice clean solution.
I checked to see how it works and it is a nice dynamic solution without hacking the .htaccess file. No extra features - worked right away.
NOTE: to those who mentioned that the instructions are out of date. To use this:
Plugins >> Redirection >> Settings
Tools >. Redirection
Has heaps more features then I thought at first. Particularly good was where you could see all the failed 404's that people were getting and fix these.
Installed on WP 3.5.2 and all is working fine. Nice plugin.
It worked well and smoothly when I changed my permalinks' structure, taking out that awful "/index.php/" from it. It is fluid and transparent to visitors. All I had to do was to include a single url to url redirection, checking also the "regular expression" box.
That was exactly what I needed, so present permalink structure works as if the old one was also valid. No lost links, no lost search engine results. Worth a PayPal donation!

Just works, great :-)
I had an error 404 appearing over and over after I re-constructed my website/blog. I know nothing about redirects and this plugin was a life saver!
Thank you so much for it!!
The Redirection plugin does exactly what I want it to do, easy to use as well :)
Excellent, just use it.
Just started using it and it seems to work a treat. I am using it to redirect some searches to their equivalent tags to save resources and to prevent timeouts.
Navigation is a little confusing.
I installed this and added a redirect because the permalink for my page changed. I got exactly what I expected which is very pleasing.
