I installed this plugin and watched my entire site slow to a crawl.

Nutritional facts are inaccurate and uneditable.

Just based on the slowness alone though (it takes a full minute from clicking "edit" to actually editing the recipe), I had to delete it.

I can't recommend this plugin to anyone. Hopefully they update it soon.

Forced signup - self recruiting/advertising for developers website
By , for WP 3.5.1

This plugin can not be used on its own like all other plugins. When trying to insert a recipe on a post, you are forced to signup to use it (and be connected each time you want to add a recipe).

If people want to leave a review of your recipe ON YOUR SITE they are forced to join yumprint website too.

Make it clear in the description and the installation that forced signup is required.

Plugin deleted. Plugins leaves files in database. Needs database cleaning afterwards.

Changed my rating from WOW to OW!
By , for WP 3.5.1

Below is my original review and feedback for this plug-in. I have since read the terms (https://yumprint.com/terms) of use and realized that the service sucks a copy of the recipe ingredients and text into it's own service both using THIS plug-in and an independent browser plug-in (in other words anyone ELSE can suck a copy of your recipe).

I spoke to the developers who are very nice and enthusiastic - the WANT to offer a useful tools to both "content providers" (that's you) and cooks.

HOWEVER, they do not seem to understand that once the recipe is sucked and in their service my web site's readers no longer have a reason to come back. Other readers can just search for my recipes on their service (now they have to "unlock" a recipe) but it does not sit well with me that I have to compete with my own recipes that were sucked out of my website without my permission (independent browser plug-in) even though I removed Recipe Card (WordPress plug-in).

I wish the developers the best of luck with their project but it's just not for me.

Now to figure out how to block their browser plug-in from sucking out my copy-written recipes out and posting them in their service verbatim without my permission - despite what their usage terms say YOUR RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS ARE COPYRIGHTED and this service does not have the right to copy them without YOUR PERMISSION.

Ciao,

L

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
"Very nice customizable plug-in. The result is not only lovely but SEO friendly but it's very easy to copy and paste my old recipes in the new plug-in.

I e-mailed support and got a response within an hour.

Try it, you won't be disappointed!"
