Import posts, categories, tags, custom fields from simple csv file.
Thanks for this great plugin. Worked perfect, and i had several Advanced Custom Fields to.
1. A simple way to rerun the import and just update the posts without the need to enter post-id.
2. Some more complete examples how to construct an array that matches acf-import pattern. I saw that there was examples (none english) on this blog:
How do i donate?
It works great!
Thanks a lot for this fantastic plugin. I tried several importers, none like this. Simple and effective.
Just by no means use excel. Use libreoffice and be careful when you save it to csv, use the UTF-8 format if you are using non English characters.
I'd add to the wishlist an exporter!
Thanks for this awesome plugin!!
Have imported CSV containing 600+ posts with 3 custom taxonomies. So if you have gone through a number of plugins and none of them worked for you...... then let me tell you this damn thing is going to make you really happy!
I am doing a change from another blogging-plattform (expression engine) to wordpress. It works very fine, It's really simple. With this plugin I will save hundreds of hours.
Thanks for this great plugin.
easy to understand and to use : formatting is just simple and straight forward.
Did a terrific job with custom type posts and custom taxonomies when i needeed it :)
Nice to have sample files also !
great plugin !
I eased my work.
Way to go on a terrific plugin!
Great work. You saved me heaps of time after I wasted so much by trying all the other CSV plugins before yours and none of them managed to import my CSV posts.
Awesome work from the developers !
Once you have downloaded LibreOffice to generate a clean CSV file (with excel it's close to impossible to get a nicely formatted CSV for this importing purpose) it's easy as pie to use this plugin.
By the way I think it's recommended to select the "quote all text fields" option in LibreOffice when you export your CSV.
Finally a wordpress CSV importer with UTF-8 support.
Also there is a "demo" CSV file and LibreOffice file so you don't have to figure out what formatting the CSV file is supposed to have !
I'm going to try this plugin.
