Speed up your site (BIG time!) — Quick Cache provides reliable page caching for WordPress. Easy-to-use (very simple installation).
The last update 26/11/13 have completely destroy my site :(
Perhaps the developer should have seen what happened with the AdRotate plugin here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/adrotate/page/3
Before he took a perfectly functioning plugin, "rewrote" it, removed half of the features, and then asks you to upgrade to the Pro version to get them back. Especially without telling anyone in the changelog that it would delete most of the features if you update.
Bad, bad, bad business model.
I like this cache plugin because it only does caching, is easy to unistall, and doesn't screw things up. Used it on multiple sites now. Very reliable. Documentation is well done and clear. I feel very confident using this plugin. PLUS it speeds up my site significantly.
I did try many different cache plugins but this one was the easiest and actually the most effective. Speeds were way way up on my blog website and the interface is a lot less complicated than others. Nice job.
Having problems with this breaking other plugins I have on my site http://thechocolatelabapps.com
Any updates planned? Cheers.
I tried a lot of caching plugins before this, and I can say that in so many ways, Quick Cache is the best. I'm a pretty advanced WP user, but some of the other plugins were complicated and required a lot of thought and effort to get set up. And some broke my site. :-/
With Quick Cache, everything is explained along the way. So you know what to set and why you'd want to set things a certain way. Super user-friendly and easy to follow. And if you're an advanced user, there are plenty of options for you as well.
Ah, but does it work? Heck yeah it does! I use pingdom monitoring, and my site went from a pathetic load time of around 4-6 seconds to an average load time of 1.8 seconds and 1.2 seconds in the US! This plugin makes a huge difference in site speed - which is what it's all about, right?
So, two thumbs up here! Thanks!
Now, that is fast! I was reluctant to install it because it hasn't been updated in a while, but it certainly works for me.
I see someone has mentioned the permissions requirement for wp-config.php. That had me wondering, too, until I did this. I gave Quick Cache the permissions it said it required, activated and configured it. Then I set the permissions back so that wp-config.php was read only. Quick Cache doesn't seem to mind. If anyone knows why it should be a problem, I'd appreciate the info. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied.
That's how fast our sites are loading now. Snap!
I'm pretty impressed. This is by far the easiest cache plugin I've installed. Super simple. I installed it, activated it and followed the directions. Two minutes later I was seeing a major speed increase.
Very nice work!
This plugin killed my site two days before launch! In an attempt to speed up load times, I installed this plugin. It allowed me to view the configuration options. I left everything at the recommended settings. Now, I can't even deactivate it! My entire site is offline! Even my hosting provider and site designer have no idea how to fix this!
Extremely easy to setup.
Notice 2 of my WP sites loaded very, very quickly.
