Keep a snippet library of text, HTML or PHP code to be used in posts. Variables can be set for more flexibility. Inserts directly or as shortcodes.
It is the best plugin of its kind that I have found.
Thank you very much!
I have been looking for something like this for days. It works perfectly!
This is a really useful and flexible plugin. Thank you!
thank you Mr. Steen for this plugin
I've been looking for something like this for AGES!!!!
It is going to save me SO much time! Woot!
This plug-in has the novel feature That it supports parametrised Snippets. This enables me to quickly insert short codes without having to remember the syntax because this plug-in will prompt me for the parameters.
Thank you for writing this plug-in.
... for having code snippets below every post (and be able to change them on the fly).
I could not do without anymore.
It is fast and very flexible.
Used it at first to solve a theme issue with very slow loading shortcodes buttons in TinyMCE which froze the whole page for something like 30 seconds. Just unbearable. I copied and pasted the theme's shortcodes in Post Snippets, turned off the damned buttons, and speed was back.
Icing on the cake: I was able to create my own default shortcode settings, like prefered button width, and so on: no more tedious fiddling with the theme's popup window for shortcode settings each time I want to insert one of them. A HUGE time saver.
You can also create all sorts of shortcodes php and html combinations and have your post/page's own custom templates at hand with one click. So cool. It allowed me to get rid of some custom post types, as this is definitely a much faster "all in one place" user experience.
I could definitely pay for such a useful plugin. Its rich set of easy to use features should be part of the WP core.
Keep up the great work, Johan !
I'm using this plugin for a Community College web site and have used this plugin to help make it convenient for users to add new content to the site in a format that is consistent to other pages with similar content.
