Allows you to add an expiration date to posts which you can configure to either delete the post, change it to a draft, or update the post categories.
Good work! I just had to get my own WP time zone correct, then I saw posts moving to another category :)
Tested with regular posts, and also with WooCommerce products. Exactly what I needed for a client website, thanks.
Any ideas on why some of my posts are not expired on the set date?
I have discovered that several old items are still on the site long after they were scheduled to expire.
Would like any suggestions.
Favoloso
Works without any problems and does what it says it does. Very nice!
In combination with the "The Future is now!"-Plugin, this plugin creates a simple way of setting up the posts/blog function of wordpress as a nice & simple event manager or news-feed with the calendar showing upcoming dates & schedules.
-> works perfect!
This plugin is really handy for hiding pages that have a specified life ... in my case special events. Installed without problem and set-up is straight forward and intuitive. Just the job!
I'm using iThemes Builder Child Foundation Blank, latest version theme running on a Baremetal.com Apache Named-1 hosting server. No problems to report and this plug-in is extremely useful for my client, who needs to specify expiration dates for job postings. A donation is on its way.
This was just what I was looking for--a way to automatically expire posts in advance. The expiration options are very well thought-out, and the one I use is an option I had never even considered until I saw the options available: the plugin lets you automatically move expired posts to another category. So, whenever I create a post in the "Announcements" category, I set an expiration date and the plugin moves them by default to the "Archived announcements" category. Moreover, the plugin is well integrated with the WordPress system, so that in the listing of all posts, an "Expires" column is added along with everything else. Fantastic all round!
We are using this for a News section and the expiration and moving to a new category feature work great.
