Like the Text widget, but also allows working PHP code to be inserted.

A "PHP Code" widget is displayed on the widget panel, so you can drag it to a sidebar and enter the PHP code you need. Just what I needed.
Just remember the plugin doesn't change the standard text widget, but creates a new widget which will be visible in the Available Widgets admin panel.
