Add notes to the "edit post" and "edit page" sidebars. Collaborators can also share notes on the WordPress dashboard.

Excellent plugin to put down relevant notes to posts. Only suggestion is would be an option to attach file(s) as well!
I installed it on several sites (my own, as well as for my clients), including http://www.woodycreative.com. Very simple and easy, and it works great. My client needed a way to allow multiple admins to log into a post or page and write notes that would not be visible once the page was published. This is a nice, neat way to allow that. Great plugin. Integrates seamlessly into the edit page. Very easy to add support for your custom post types by editing the following in peters_post_notes.php:
// List of post types on which the post notes should be enabled
$ppn_settings['post_types'] = array( 'post', 'page', 'yourCustomPostType' );
I'm using both Peter's Post Notes and Peter's Collaboration E-mails and it gave me exactly what I needed to complete my workflow for a multi-author blog. Users are set at contributor level and get all the notifications with the ability to add notes when sending it back to them for review or upon publishing.
Useful and recommended for web-magazine or multi-author blogs! We are using it on "Magazeta" and very like it! (Use it with another plugin by this author: Peter's Collaboration E-mails).
