Specify the theme (not template, that is already taken care of by WordPress) you wish to use with each given page or blog post.
This seems to work for me over others.. Thanks
Doesn't allow you to assign a theme to a whole blog category. You only assign a theme to an individual page or post, not to groups of pages or whole categories. The interface for choosing a page theme is complex and buggy, and I experienced problems with child themes not loading correctly when this plugin was installed.
Thank you so much! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
I used to have WP websites on one installation and then the blog on another. I decided to get everything under one install of WP but could not figure out how the heck to get the different layouts working.
Your plugin is the solution. I have a template for the main website and one for the blog now and your plugin lets me choose which to use.
I will be sending a donation your way shortly in expression of my thanks!
I was thinking about installing wordpress again on my subdirectory
Then I found this plugin and this solve my problem
Here is the first site I installed it on: http://193sow.org/
The home page is set to use a theme I created with a header and the rest of the pages were set to use a no header theme set as the default. Solved my problem in no time but I see many other applications. Thanks and good job!
Works well and saved me a lot of hacking code. Great plugin.
After trying unsuccessfully to merge features from two different themes, I was about to give up, until I found this.
Even though I'm a genius, it's incredibly difficult to merge complex themes for different sections of a site. Even after dequeueing and enqueueing stylesheets based on category, merging widget areas in functions.php, creating independent templates and loops for different post types, etc. my site was still puking all over the place.
This plug in accomplished what I wanted with almost no effort. It truly wowed me to see it working so quickly.
The only feature that would really make it - the ability to set entire post types to default to a particular theme. Setting the theme for each post is a tedious extra step. I hope development continues on this plugin because there's nothing else like it. 5 stars.
