By , for WP 3.9

Why does it have to be so complicated to add a simple image. Ridiculous!!

Lackluster: Hostile devs, No support, Unprofessional, Plugin doesn't work
By , for WP 3.9.1

There's a reason this plugin has a high number of poor reviews. It doesn't work and the devs didn't provide support. They did nothing! I have all the emails to back up my statements.

Ruel and Dean were provided the exact information of what wasn't working. Instead of troubleshooting it, all Ruel did was turn the plugin on (I had deactivated when it wasn't working) and said it was fine, when it wasn't. They didn't even bother to look at the specific information they were given on what wasn't working. Instead, I was subjected to multiple emails of a highly hostile nature from Dean. That is exactly what lackluster is, and they are deserving of the feedback. It's fair, and it's honest. But Dean doesn't want people to be honest, and conceded to being entirely unprofessional.

Instead of actually looking into what the exact issue was, after being given all the information, he spent time which could have been used for actual support to instead act childish and refusing any support at all, attempting to blame me when they had all the information.

I ultimately had to change the password for the login he was given to prevent them from engaging in unethical practices or carrying out any intents to cause harm to the site. I felt it was necessary given his unstable emotional state, represented in the (non)support responses. At the same time I changed the login, I also uninstalled the non-working plugin. That was 14 hours before his last email conceding to his unprofessional behavior. I chose to use WPMU instead. It's stable and it works.

They're running quite a racket with their claim the plugin works with any theme. It doesn't. They also divert support from the forum to ZenDesk, undoubtedly in an attempt to skew public perceptions of their support and plugin's performance.

I have all the emails which documents they were given all the information, and it also documents they did nothing. There was no support. If there actually had been, this would be a non-issue.

These guys rank up there with the worst devs ever, and they got told so. I don't tolerate that kind of decorum from my 12 yr old.

Couldn't set it up
By , for WP 3.8.1

I tried installing this plugin twice, trying to get it to work, but I ran into the same problem both times. In attempting to set up the plugin, I got an error message (orange outline, inside the text box for the pop-up text) about the default settings and that it would load the page. The page would refresh with the same error message, and try to reload again. This happened continuously until I finally closed the browser. I tried logging out of WordPress and logging back in again; I got the same result. As I mentioned above, I tried deleting and re-installing the plugin, but I got the same result.

The other reviews were right (Avoid)
By , for WP 3.8

In spite of some bad reviews, I decided to try OptinRevolution. I installed the plugin to test it. I couldn't even read a sentence because the ad refreshes and moves the text all over constantly. Not a positive showcase for a new potential customer. I did not see a contact us on there website. They have two likes on Facebook, one is from me so I could comment (will be removed in a minute.) They have one on Twitter follower, and zero at Google+. What is wrong with that picture?

What garbage
By ,

I've never seen so many ads on a plugin configuration page. In fact, I've never seen any. What a bunch of greedy b@st@ard$.

Here's a hint: If you want to have customers, try to be less annoying.

Did I mention that I uninstalled it as soon as I saw the configuration page?

Doesn't work
By , for WP 1.2.0

The plugin didn't even saved the edited version of my popup window after 2 hours of torture with that overprotected and overencrypted Fort Knox style popup editor. I felt like a burglar who wanted to steal something.
But in fact this is I who should be paid for seeing all these noisy ads in vain.

Annoying

They try so hard to make you buy it, it doesn't allow you to even get to understand how to use it.

Terrible - Full with ads
By , for WP 3.5.1

This plugin makes a very bad first impressions. Settings page is full of hi-res adds, which catches my eyes. Can't really do anything. Default templet is not editable. No, I did not watch the tutorial because I'm very good at figuring things out. All they care about is buy more from them. Free version is useless. Did not have a good feeling about it, so deactivated right away. This plugin is a joke. Wasted my time. I created my profile here just to leave this comment. That is how frustrated I'm.
