Workflow process for WordPress made simple with Oasis Workflow.
Oasis Workflow was the perfect fit for our needs. We needed a clean and easy solution for our client's staff to edit and update already published content (Pages) but have an approval required prior to the changes being published.
The workflow method is very flexible, though we use a simple workflow with only one approval step. Users can create a copy of an existing page as a draft, submit it for review with notes, and the approved draft is published over the existing page.
Support is very good. Intelligent responses that corrected issues and guided in workflow setups. The plugin's site has much more content than is in the Support section, you just have to search for it.
(we are using the Pro version. totally worth it).
Can't believe the versatility of this product cost of the product saved hundreds on project development costs. Support is phenomenal, response from development team was beyond anything I have ever experienced. Well worth the purchase price. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a workflow plugin working out-of-the-box with a rich feature set, enabling you to create also complex workflows with many users/rolls, we do totally recommend Oasis Workflow.
WordPress misses the option to revise new or to edit existing content.
With the Oasis Workflow plugin, tasks like this can be done in an easy way, with a graphical feedback showing you which part of the workflow is active for a specific post/page.
Users/rolls are really easy to include and within 15 minutes I was able to let the team work on their tasks without any problems. Creating workflows is as easy as breathing the air, thanks to a nice graphical interface. Multi-language support is also implemented.
As it is really useful and without any competitors in this segment I can only recommend to give it a try, if you looking for a working solution to enable workflows in WordPress.
We installed this plugin and found it to be quite promising. We developed workflows, how-tos, and did some training. And then, after an upgrade, when we go to add a new workflow, we get a popup telling us we are only allowed one workflow unless we upgrade to the pro version. Lest anyone think we merely leechers, we have paid for plug-ins. In particular Sendpress Pro. To pay for additional features is one thing, but to offer a free plugin and then hobble it is more like bait and switch. It has been removed.

I wish developer to add user group along with user roles when assign resource during submission.
